Almond & Blueberry Energy Balls

Almond & Blueberry Energy Balls

These Almond & Blueberry Energy Balls are a simple way to bring together whole, nutrient-dense ingredients into a convenient, ready-to-eat snack. Made with naturally sweet dates, almonds, and blueberries, they offer a balanced combination of carbohydrates, healthy fats, and plant-based protein to support steady energy throughout the day.

Dates provide natural sugars along with fiber, which helps support digestion and promotes more sustained energy release. Almonds and almond butter contribute heart-healthy fats, vitamin E, and magnesium—nutrients that play important roles in brain function, muscle health, and overall cellular support. Hemp protein adds a boost of plant-based protein along with essential amino acids, making these bites a well-rounded option for supporting muscle repair and satiety.

Freeze-dried blueberries bring concentrated flavor along with antioxidants, which help protect the body from oxidative stress and support overall wellness. With no baking required and minimal processing, these energy balls are a practical option for keeping nutrient-rich ingredients on hand in a form that’s easy to store, portion, and enjoy whenever you need it.

Recipe

Serves 8

6.3 oz. (180g) Medjool dates (about 10), pitted

2.3 oz. (65g) almond butter

1.95 oz. (55g) almonds

1.4 oz. (40g) hemp protein powder

2½ tbsp. maple syrup

1 oz. (30g) freeze-dried blueberries

How to Prepare

Add the almonds to a food processor and pulse until finely crushed.

Add the dates, almond butter, hemp protein, date syrup, and freeze-dried blueberries. Pulse until the mixture is fully combined and sticky.

Scoop about 2 tbsp of the mixture and roll into balls. Repeat with the remaining mixture to make 8 balls.
