Serves 6

Chicken Wings:

1.5 lbs. (680g) chicken wings

1 tsp. olive oil

½ tsp. salt

½ tsp. black pepper

½ tsp. smoked paprika

½ tsp. garlic powder

½ tsp. onion powder

1 tbsp. baking powder

Chopped parsley, to garnish

Garlic Sauce:

4 tbsp. olive oil or coconut oil

8 tbsp. vegan Parmesan

1 tsp. onion powder

1 tsp. garlic powder

1 tsp. dried parsley

¼ tsp. black pepper

How to Prepare

Prepare the Chicken Wings:
Remove the chicken wings from the refrigerator and pat them dry with paper towels. Rub the wings with olive oil. In a small bowl, mix together the salt, pepper, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, and baking powder. Sprinkle the seasoning mixture over the wings and toss to coat evenly.

Cook the Wings (Air Fryer Method):
Place the wings in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Cook at 400°F (200°C) for 12-15 minutes on each side, until the wings are golden and crispy.

Oven Cooking Method:

Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Line two rimmed baking sheets with kitchen foil and fit them with wire racks.

Arrange the wings in a single layer on the wire racks, leaving space between each wing.

Bake in the hot oven for around 40 minutes, or until the wings are cooked through and the skin is golden and crispy.

Prepare the Garlic Sauce:
While the wings are cooking, combine all the sauce ingredients (olive oil, vegan Parmesan, onion powder, garlic powder, parsley, and black pepper) in a small bowl. Stir to combine until smooth.

Toss and Serve:
Once the wings are cooked to perfection, toss them in the garlic sauce and garnish with chopped parsley. Serve immediately and enjoy the crispy, garlicky goodness!
