This favorite Mexican side dish has become increasingly popular due to its creamy texture and array of flavors. It also contains plenty of healthy benefits, including essential vitamins and minerals, heart-healthy fats, fiber, and antioxidants that help support your immune system. Furthermore, it’s incredibly versatile and can easily be adapted depending on the ingredients used. So grab some avocados and get ready because today we’re going to show you how easy (and fun!) it is to make homemade guacamole!


5 avocados make sure they are ripe!

1/4 cups lime juice

1 cups cherry tomatoes, halved

1/2 small onion, chopped

1 clove garlic, minced

1 tsp cumin, ground

1/2 cups cilantro, fresh, chopped

1/2 tsp salt

hot sauce optional

How to Prepare

Mince garlic. Chop onions, tomatoes, and cilantro. 

Cut avocados in half and scoop flesh into food processor. 

Add lime juice and pulse until creamy. Add some water if you need some more creaminess or more lime juice to increase tartness.

Add tomatoes, onion, garlic, cumin, and cilantro to processor and pulse until just combined.

Stir in hot sauce (if using) and salt to taste.

Serve with baked chips (we like Siete) and raw vegetables.

If storing, place in dish, squeeze lime juice on surface and place film of waxed paper or parchment over top before covering.
