If so, then I have a delicious and healthy breakfast recipe for you: Millet Breakfast Porridge. Made with just a few simple ingredients, this porridge is not only nutritious, but also hearty and satisfying. So why not give it a try tomorrow morning? I promise you won’t be disappointed!
Recipe
1/3 cup millet, drained & rinsed
1/2 cup almond or coconut milk
3/4 cup filtered water
1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp pure vanilla extract
1/8 tsp sea salt
2 pitted medjool dates, diced
*optional toppings – pure maple syrup, blueberries, sliced bananas, peaches, strawberries, coconut or crushed nuts
How to Prepare
In a small saucepan, combine all the ingredients. Bring to a boil.
Reduce heat to low, cover and cook at a simmer for 20-25 minutes or until the liquid is absorbed and it has the consistency of oatmeal.
Remove from heat, drizzle with maple syrup and top as desired.
