Oatmeal Banana Bites

Bananas and oatmeal are a classic combination, and these little Oatmeal Banana Bites are the perfect way to enjoy them. They’re healthy, filling, and delicious! Plus, they’re easy to make – you can have a batch ready in no time. Give them a try!

Recipe

1 cup rolled oats

1 cup oat flour

1 tsp baking powder

1/4 tsp sea salt

1/2 tsp cinnamon

1/4 tsp nutmeg

1 cup pureed overripe banana

1 tsp pure vanilla extract

2 Tbsp dark chocolate chips

*optional – to use raisins or other dried fruits in place of the chocolate chips

How to Prepare

Preheat oven to 350F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

In a mixing bowl, combine the oats, oat flour, baking powder, sea salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Stir through until well combined.

Add the banana and vanilla (and chocolate chips, if using) to the dry mixture and stir through until combined. Using a cookie scoop, place mounds of the batter (about 2-2 1/2 tablespoons) on a baking sheet.

Bake for 15-20 minutes, until slightly golden. Remove and let cool on pan for just a minute, then transfer to a cooling rack.
