Overnight Salted Caramel Oats

There’s something magical about waking up to a delicious, satisfying breakfast waiting for you. And if you happen to have a sweet tooth first thing in the morning, these Overnight Salted Caramel Oats are sure to hit the spot. With a base of rolled oats, chia seeds, almond milk, and vanilla extract, the oats themselves are a treat. But it’s the caramel topping that really takes them to the next level: a blend of almond butter, maple syrup, and just a pinch of salt. And for a little extra indulgence, finish with a drizzle of melted dark chocolate over the top. Who says you can’t have dessert for breakfast?


Serves 2

For the oat base:

2.5 oz.  rolled oats

1 tbsp. chia seeds

5 fl oz. unsweetened almond milk

¼ tsp. vanilla extract

For the caramel:

1 tbsp. almond butter

1 tbsp. maple syrup

pinch of salt

For the topping:

2 squares dark chocolate, melted

How to Prepare

Place the ingredients for the oat base into a bowl, stir to combine and allow to sit for a few minutes to thicken.

Prepare the caramel by mixing the ingredients together, then pour the caramel mixture over the oat base.

Finally, drizzle the melted chocolate over the caramel layer, and place in the refrigerator overnight.
