Tuna Cakes

Are you looking for an easy and healthy weeknight meal? These tuna cakes are the perfect solution! They’re quick and easy to make, and they’re packed with protein and omega-3 fatty acids. Plus, they’re DELICIOUS. give them a try tonight!


3 tablespoons coconut oil

4 5-ounce BPA-free cans wild-caught tuna in water, drained

1 egg

1 teaspoon Dijon mustard

½ cup almond flour

1 tablespoon dried parsley

1 tablespoon dehydrated chopped onions (or 1 teaspoon onion powder)

sea salt and black pepper, to taste

zest and juice of 1 lemon

How to Prepare

Add oil to a large skillet over medium heat. Meanwhile, mix together all remaining ingredients in a medium mixing bowl until well-combined.

Form mixture into 6 round patties, then add the patties to the hot pan. Fry for 5-7 minutes on each side or until heated through and crispy golden brown on both sides. 

Drain cooked tuna cakes on a paper towel-lined plate before enjoying with your favorite sides.
