First of all, let me just say that I never thought I’d be writing about dieting. But after years of being overweight and trying every possible way to lose weight, I finally found a diet that actually works. The program is called WILDFIT and it literally changed my life! You see, in the past, diets had been nothing more than temporary fixes for me. I would lose a few pounds, and then slowly gain it all back (and more) when I stopped doing the diet.
But this time around was different! This new way of eating taught me how to live a healthy life – no crazy foods or strict regiments that you can’t stick with for long periods of time. NO counting calories or carbs. NO weighing your food, NO counting points. And no more feeling hungry all the time!
In 2017, I knew I had to make changes, my weight had reached 300 pounds, my doctor was concerned about my cholesterol, my blood sugar was creeping up. I was so tired all of the time. I was starting to not to have the energy to do the things I wanted to do.
So I started doing some research and that’s when I found WILDFIT. It was a program that focused on eating REAL food, foods that our bodies were meant to eat as well as looking at our thoughts, feelings, and beliefs around food. The program was simple, there were no crazy restrictions or rules to follow. Just healthy, wholesome meals that would help me lose weight without feeling deprived or hungry.
After only a few weeks on the program, I started to see results. My clothes were starting to fit better and my energy levels were improving! I wasn’t always hungry like I had been on other diets and I could actually enjoy meals without feeling guilty. At the end of the WILDFIT 90 Day Challenge, I had lost over 35 pounds. I knew I had found something sustainable for me. So I kept living WILDFIT and released a total of 80 pounds.
And the best part…. I’ve kept the weight off for OVER 4 YEARS and I feel great!!
