Your core includes your abdominals, obliques, transverse abdominis, pelvic floor, diaphragm, erector spinae, hip flexors, and glutes—yep, all that!

When these muscles work together in harmony, you’re not only stronger… you’re more resilient, agile, and pain-free.

If you’re ready to transform your core from the inside out, the best place to start is with intentional, foundational movement. And that’s exactly what this workout is all about.

The Workout: FLOOR CORE

This circuit is one of my favorites from the Core Strong guide (below)—and perfect for any fitness level. It focuses on stability, control, and strength without needing any equipment.

Perform as a circuit 1–3x through, resting 1–2 minutes between rounds.

  • Bird Dog – 5 reps each side, alternating (Video)
  • Glute Bridge – 15 reps (Video)
  • Dead Bug – 5 reps each side, alternating (Video)
  • Panther Shoulder Tap – 5 reps each side, alternating (Video)
  • Reverse Crunch – 15 reps (Video)
  • Superman – 10 reps (hold for 2 seconds at the top) (Video)
