Recipe

1/4 cup homemade elderberry syrup (Click here for a recipe to make your own, or store bought works ok too)

1/2 teaspoon ground ginger (or more to taste)

1 tablespoon lime juice (or lemon juice)

1 cup sparkling water

Ice cubes

Lime or lemon slices (for garnish)

How to Prepare

Mix Ingredients: In a glass, combine 1/4 cup of elderberry syrup, ground ginger, and lime juice. Stir well to combine.

Add Ice: Fill the glass with ice cubes.

Top with Sparkling Water: Pour sparkling water over the mixture and stir gently.

Garnish and Serve: Add a lime or lemon slice for garnish.

Enjoy! Refreshing and immune-boosting with the perfect balance of sweetness from the elderberry syrup and a zing of ginger and citrus.

Note:
For a lighter flavor, you can substitute the elderberry syrup with brewed elderberry tea. Simply steep 1-2 elderberry tea bags in 1 cup of hot water for 5 minutes, then follow the same recipe. The tea version has a more subtle flavor and is a great option when you’re feeling under the weather and need a gentle boost. You can also adjust the sweetness by adding a bit of honey if desired.
