This Matcha Chia Pudding is a simple, nourishing recipe that brings together plant-based ingredients for a balanced and satisfying start to the day—or a steady source of energy between meals. Combining the creaminess of almond milk, the fiber-rich texture of chia seeds, and the clean protein boost from a plant-based vanilla protein powder, this pudding is as practical as it is flavorful.
Each ingredient plays a role in supporting overall wellness. Chia seeds are packed with omega-3 fatty acids, fiber, and essential minerals like calcium and magnesium, making them a great base for sustained energy and digestion. The plant-based protein powder adds essential amino acids that help support everything from muscle repair to immune health. Matcha, a finely ground green tea powder, contributes natural antioxidants (including EGCG) that have been studied for their role in supporting brain function, calm alertness, and cellular health.
Sweetened lightly with maple syrup and topped with fresh or frozen berries, this pudding is both refreshing and satisfying. It’s easy to prepare ahead of time and versatile enough to fit into a variety of routines. Whether enjoyed for breakfast or a midday pause, it offers steady nutrition made with simple, whole-food ingredients.
