Recipe

3 sweet potatoes, peeled & chopped

4 apples, peeled & sliced

1 cup gluten-free quick cooking oats

2/3 cup sliced almonds

1/2 cup almond flour

2 tablespoons coconut sugar (or to taste)

1/4 cup unsweetened coconut flakes

2 tablespoons maple syrup (or to taste)

1/3 cup unsweetened applesauce

2 teaspoons cinnamon (or more)

Dash of nutmeg

Dash of salt

Water (about 3-4 tablespoons)

How to Prepare

Add the sweet potatoes and apples to the crockpot.

Pour in about 3-4 tablespoons of water.

In a separate bowl, mix the oats, sliced almonds, almond flour, coconut sugar, coconut flakes, maple syrup, applesauce, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.

Layer the oat mixture on top of the sweet potatoes and apples in the crockpot.

Cover and cook on low for 3-4 hours.
