Teriyaki Glazed Turkey Meatballs

Get ready for an exciting twist on classic meatballs with these Teriyaki Glazed Turkey Meatballs! The combination of minced scallions, garlic, and ginger give these turkey meatballs an aromatic kick.  But the true star of the dish is the teriyaki glaze. This sweet and savory sauce coats each meatball to perfection, offering an addictive balance of flavors. And with a final sprinkle of sesame seeds, you’ll be ready to enjoy a dish that’s not only delicious, but also exciting!


1  1/2 cups scallions, minced

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 tsp ginger, peeled and minced

1  1/2 lb turkey, ground

3  1/2 Tbsp almond flour

1 egg, lightly beaten

1 Tbsp coconut aminos

1 tsp sesame oil

1 tsp sesame seeds for garnish

1/4 cup teriyaki glaze

How to Prepare

Preheat your oven to 350°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Prep scallions, garlic, and ginger.

In a bowl, combine ground turkey, almond meal, beaten egg, scallions, garlic, coconut aminos, sesame oil, and ginger. Add more almond meal if the mixture is too wet. 

Shape the mixture into bite-sized meatballs [a small ice cream scoop makes this a snap] and place on a baking sheet.

Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes, or until cooked through. 

Remove from the oven and toss with teriyaki sauce and return to the oven for 5 more minutes.

Sprinkle with sesame seeds and serve.
